Lawyer Wilfredo Garrido came to the defense of Angelica Yulo, mother of gymnast and Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, after a broadsheet seemingly poked fun at their family feud in a Facebook post.
In a Facebook post, Garrido said he hoped Yulo would sue the Daily Tribune over its alleged defamatory post.
“It has gone beyond the realm of fair commentary and satire. Nananahimik ang nanay,” Garrido said.
He cited the broadsheet’s post insinuating that Angelica was ready to object and stop the wedding of her son to Chloe San Jose.
The seemingly tongue-in-cheek post included the line, “Source: Our Imagination.”
