The 1Sambayan Alliance has openly supported the diplomatic protest being pushed by Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Boy Locsin. The alliance issued a statement in support of their insistence to keep the Chinese vessels out.

The group led by former Associate Justice Antonio Carpio called their stance strong and principled. They enjoined all patriotic Filipinos to assert our sovereign rights and once again wielded our 2016 Hague ruling win.
