Tragic! Former student, Fortun speak out about the real Harry Roque

Sharing is caring!

Atty. Wilfredo Garrido talks about his personal encounters with the former presidential spokesperson, Atty. Harry Roque. The abogado shared interesting anecdotes about Roque, starting from his memory as a law student.

Garrido noted that his whole career is “built on matchsticks”, judging from his failed attempt to audition for the Jessup International Debate team and being overshadowed by contemporaries like Atty. Ruben Carranza. The abogado said that he is not brilliant but had gall despite his less-than-spectacular law practice hidden inside a nice Antel office provided by his rich grandmother.

The abogado noted that there is also an air of arrogance in Roque as he also refused to do notary work. He said that for years, he did it for him for free until he got tired of it.

The abogado also exposed Roque’s Muslim-hating antics during his professorial stint in the UP College of Law. He was projected as a lawyer who fails to finish any cases and milk just enough publicity from controversial cases such as the Maguindanao Massacre, Japanese comfort women and Jennifer Laude.

Eventually, he likened Roque to a rat who might survive the impending shipwreck of the Duterte administration. He wrote, “Rascals like him have nine lives.”

Dr. Racquel Fortun also retweeted the said statement with her own lamentations against the abogado. She wrote, “I know him, used to be a friend. But he didn’t care if he ruined people as he clawed his way to the top.”

The biggest talangka in the Philippines. For shame!
