Tony La Viña welcomes new member in Manila Observatory policy team

Manila Observatory Board Member Tony La Viña recruited his former Philosophy of the Law student, Vanessa to his legal policy team in the Manila Observatory. The abogado noted that he also happened to be a mentor for her thesis.

Welcoming Vanessa Vergara to our legal and policy team based in Manila Observatory. A former philosophy of law student of mine, I also mentored her on a brilliant thesis she wrote on protecting natural and cultural heritage sites. La Viña said that she worked on protecting natural and cultural heritage sites. The abogado noted that as she moves on, she will now work on climate justice and Lumad issues.
