Three persons have been charged with murder before the Liloy regional trial court in connection with the killing of Zamboanga del Norte RTC Branch 11 Judge Reymar L. Lacaya last May 9.

Indicted were Department of Public Works and Highways employee Juliver S. Cabating, and a certain “Jerry” and “Ramil.”

The indictment came after probable cause was established during preliminary investigation on the complaint filed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Also, the NBI submitted affidavits and pieces of evidence linking the respondents to the judge’s murder.

Lacaya was boarding his vehicle outside a courthouse on May 9 when he was shot to death.
