Three branches of Biñan City RTC on 14-day lockdown
Three (3) branches of the Biñan City regional trial court have been placed on lockdown after an employee tested positive for COVID-19 during reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction or swab testing.
In a memorandum, Executive Judge Teodoro Solis said Branches 153, 154, and 155, which are housed in a single office, will be physically closed from September 24 to October 8, 2020.
To contain the spread of the coronavirus, all judges and personnel have been advised to stay at home under the work-from-home scheme during the said period.
Those who tested positive for COVID-19 should immediately seek treatment, while judges and personnel must undergo swab testing.
The courts shall continue to operate through their respective hotline numbers and judiciary emails.
Courts may also conduct video conference hearings and accept pleadings through electronic filing pursuant to existing circulars issued by the Supreme Court. #
