‘Tama na ang drama,’ Ridon tells VP Sara

Bicol Saro party-list Rep. Terry Ridon told Vice President Sara Duterte to cut the drama after she said she does not feel safe and feels that she would be killed following the issuance of an arrest warrant against her for her grave threats case.

Duterte, appearing on Saturday at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court where she is expected to post bail, also asked who would be held accountable if something were to happen to her.

Ridon responded to her statement by saying that she should answer for her actions.

“‘Sinong mananagot?’ Kayo po, Madam Vice President, ang kailangang managot at sumagot sa mga alegasyong kinakaharap ninyo,” he said.

He said she would not be in her situation now if not for her own statements.

“Tama na po ang drama. Wala naman pong grave threats case ngayon kung hindi dahil sa mga pahayag na naging batayan ng kasong isinampa laban sa inyo,” he said.

He called on her to face the legal process and present her defense before the court.

Duterte was charged with grave threats after she said in an online press briefing that she told somebody to kill the President, the First Lady, and the former Speaker if she were killed.
