Winning streak continues: UP Law lands in fifth spot at Red Cross Moot Court
The University of the Philippines Law Debate and Moot Court Union is still on a roll. The UP Law team participated in the 16th Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition held in Hongkong but failed to secure the championship in the said round.
However, the UP LDMU delegates lands the fifth place out of the 24 teams who competed in the Asia-Pacific Rounds. The team consists of the following aspiring abogados: Sofronio Dulay, Danielle Garduno, and Julia Cho.
The UP Law team were also coached by Lee Edson Yarcia and UP Law Professor Rommel Casis. The recently concluded Red Cross moot court aims to raise awareness in several international humanitarian issues and is co-organized by the Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
