‘Stop 2028 polls?’ Bongbong Marcos laughs off VP Sara’s claim

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday could only laugh when asked about Vice President Sara Duterte’s claim that he wants to stop the conduct of the 2028 national elections.

At an event in Pasay City, Marcos was asked to comment on Duterte’s remarks about the Marcos administration’s alleged desperate moves to bring her down, push for Charter change, and prevent the 2028 polls so that the President can cling to power.

The President simply laughed at the question before turning away from reporters.

Earlier, the Vice President denied allegations that she knew and received money from ex-cop Rodolfo Gracioso Jr., who served as security officer for former Speaker and then Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Velasco.

Duterte said it was just a media stunt and desperate move to bring her down amid the “faltering impeachment case” against her.
