Stella Quimbo comments on the unilateral abrogation of UP-DND Accord
Marikina Representative and UP Economics Professor Stella Quimbo comments on the unilateral termination of the Department of National Defense’s Accord with UP.
She stated that this threatens the safety of the UP community and infringes on basic rights.

Quimbo believes that this hampers basic rights to express dissent and mobilize. The congresswoman noted that UP must remain a cradle of free thought to carry out its purpose as the national university.
Quimbo is the Representative for the second district of Marikina. She is married to former Marikina Representative and abogado, Miro Quimbo.
