Stella Esquivias to Sara Duterte: ‘You cannot legislate morality!’

Esquivias said that she is right about no legislation on being honest. However, the abogada also pointed out that it is hard to legislate morality.
Section 27 of Article II states: “The State shall maintain honesty and integrity in the public service and take positive and effective measures against graft and corruption.”
The 1987 Constitution is shookt.

Her husband and fellow abogado, Atty. Julz Esquivias also voiced out his opinion by citing Section 27, Article II of the Philippine Constitution that tasked officials to “maintain honesty and integrity in public service. He wrote, “The 1987 Constitution is shookt.”
