Stay away from Manila Bay! Jay Batongbacal warns public of dangers of Manila Bay’s white sand

Abogado and UP Law professor Jay Batongbacal urged the public to stay away from Manila Bay once the DENR’s project to put white sand on its coast line finishes.

“Dolomite is classified commercially as Category 1A in carcinogenicity; in other words, it also causes cancer. Looks like Manila Bay has just been turned into a toxic hazard area. Stay away, especially with all the dust particles all that dumping is now causing.”
