Sta. Maria to judge int’l law moot court tilt
Far Eastern University Law Dean Mel Sta. Maria is hitting two birds with one stone.
On Facebook, Sta. Maria announced that he accepted the invitation to judge at the international rounds of the Philip Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C.
“Jessup is the ‘superbowl’ of international mooting. After so many years, I am going back to this most prestigious moot court competition,” he said.
But on top of his excitement to judge in the tilt, he said he will also have the opportunity to see his daughter, who’s finishing her Master of Laws in Yale University.
