Spectacle: Netizens blast heightened police presence, media coverage of Dacera’s burial
The remains of flight attendant Christine Dacera have been laid to rest Sunday, more than a week since she was found dead inside the bathtub of a Makati hotel after a New Year’s party with friends and hotel neighbors.
The Dacera family wore white to the memorial park, matching the color of the 23-year-old flight attendant’s casket. The event was heavily covered by the media and had members of the police on board, with cops carrying the casket to her final resting place.
Netizens, however, questioned the need for such special treatment after cops bungled the initial investigation.

Did you see the differences between those people who has connection and those simply living their lives? Do you see how unfair our Justice? Do you see how they handle this present case of dacera and the construction man who was killed by the policeman”accidentally?”

Others were more sympathetic.
