SC spox Atty. Ting to law students: ‘Stock knowledge’ is the key

Supreme Court spokesperson Atty. Camille Sue Mae Ting has advised law students to study hard and build their “stock knowledge,” saying lessons and recitations in law school become crucial when taking the Bar.

“For law students, first is study very well,” Ting said in an interview with Bilyonaryo News Channel’s At The Forefront with Atty. Karen Jimeno.

“Because in my experience, what you remember when you’re actually taking the Bar are the lessons and all the recitations and failed recitations that you’ve had during law school. So, it’s really stock knowledge, ” she added.

Ting also encouraged this year’s Bar examinees not to doubt themselves after years of preparation and sacrifice.

“For the bar takers this year, I’d say you got this, kaya nyo yan,” Ting said.

“You’ve studied so hard, you’ve made so many sacrifices just to be where you are. And I don’t want them to doubt themselves at this stage,” she added.

Ting also shared a reminder often given by Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo: “Just keep the faith and believe in yourself.”
