SC launches ‘automated frontliners’ vs COVID-19
Committed to protecting its employees and the public against exposure to COVID-19 virus, the Supreme Court, through Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta has ordered the installation of two multi-function disinfection chambers in the Court.
Strategically located at the lobby of the SC Main Building and the SC Centennial Building in Faura, Manila, the disinfection chambers are equipped with a non-contact infrared temperature scanner, an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser, and an ultrasonic atomization system.
Dubbed as the SC’s Automated Frontliners, the recent installation of these disinfection chambers is the latest initiative of the Peralta court to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to the lockdown early on in March, the Court has distributed face masks to its employees and gave every office with ample supply of 70% solution rubbing alcohol for use of the employees and visitor to disinfect their hands.
Likewise, the Court has placed hand sanitizer dispenser outside of every office and near the elevators.
The Chief Justice appealed to the public to just stay at home and to stay safe if there is no need for them to go outside either for work or to do some basic and necessary personal errands.
