SC honors 10 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos

The Supreme Court honored 10 Filipinos recognized as the 2026 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos during a ceremony at the SC En Banc Session Hall in Manila just recently.

The awardees—four teachers, three police officers and three soldiers—were recognized under the theme “Beyond Excellence” for going beyond the ordinary demands of their duties in serving their communities.

The ceremony was led by Associate Justices Rodil V. Zalameda and Jhosep Y. Lopez.

The 10 awardees are Emmanuel D. Guarde, PhD; Sheila Marie M. Amigo; Cecilia O. Bucayong, PhD; Jefferson A. Hora, PhD; Staff Sergeant Joebelle O. Cerdinio (SC) PA; Staff Sergeant John Daren P. Noche PAF; Lieutenant Colonel Rommel M. Gelo PN (M); Police Master Sergeant Dwight Alexis B. Supsupin; Police Major Baby Rose P. Cajulao; and Police Lieutenant Colonel Roberto R. Mansueto.

Each awardee received the Gold Medallion of Excellence, Flame Trophy and P1 million cash incentive.

Metrobank Foundation President Philip Francisco U. Dy thanked the SC for hosting the recognition ceremony and said the program reflects the foundation’s commitment to nation-building by recognizing dedicated public servants.#
