The Supreme Court’s Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) said 13,441 applicants may take the 2026 Bar exams.
The OBC released the names of those cleared for the exam out of 14,291 applicants.
The number of applicants who registered for the 2026 Bar exams is the highest in its history.
In 2025, 13,193 registered but the total number of applicants who completed the tests stood at 11,425.
For 2026, the exams will be held on September 6, 9, and 13 in 15 testing centers all over the country.
San Beda College Alabang in Muntinlupa City will serve as the National Headquarters for the exams.
The subjects covered and their corresponding weights are: Political and Public International Law (15%), Commercial and Taxation Laws (20%), Civil Law and Land Titles and Deeds (20%), Labor Law and Social Legislation (10%), Criminal Law (10%), and Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics, with Practical Exercises (25%).
