Senator Ping Lacson shares his thoughts on Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque’s claim that Filipinos should not be choosy. The senator called out the abogado’s cockiness and said that there is no room for it in a pandemic situation.

Cockiness has no place in a pandemic situation. Instead of building people’s confidence by starting with a higher efficacy vaccine and accomplish its intended purpose, to tell them they can’t be choosy is definitely not a smart information campaign to promote mass inoculation.

Lacson mentioned that this will not help their public information for mass inoculation. Instead, he suggested that the government should inspire confidence by choosing a high efficacy vaccine to accomplish its intended purpose.

The senator noted saying that they cannot be choosy is not smart.
