Rosario: Negative perception on Sereno ouster now over
Court of Appeals Associate Justice Ricardo Rosario said the negative public perception on former chief justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno’s removal via quo warranto appeared to have died down already.
Rosario issued the statement during public interview by the Judicial and Bar Council of candidates aspiring for the soon-to-be-vacant of seat of retiring Supreme Court Associate Justice Noel Tijam.
” After the decision in the quo warranto case that removed Sereno, there were fears that credibity of SC would be eroded. But now, after more than six months have passed, the perception appeared to have died down,” Rosario said.
