FLAG Chair Chel Diokno breaks his silence on the malicious fake news being spread about him.
The abogado asked the public to help him report the false information that is being spread.

Diokno noted that the intent is very clear and that is to ruin his image. The abogado asked why there seems to be a sense of desperation to tarnish his reputation.

I was a consultant of DBP from 2004–2006; at bilang consultant, I had no decision-making powers. Ang trabaho ko lang, magpayo on legal matters bilang abogado. Basic ito: board of directors lang ang may kapangyarihan magdesisyon.

He also clarified that he worked as a consultant for the DBP. Other than legal advisory, the abogado claimed that all decision making is done by the board.

Diokno asked people to stop the lies about him.
