Renee Co lives by NUPL founder’s advice: ‘Be the best lawyer money cannot buy’

Kabataan Rep. Renee Co congratulated the National Union of Peoples’ Lawyers as it celebrated its 19th anniversary recently and said she was one of those who heeded the call of its founder, Romeo Capulong.

Co said she has abided by Capulong’s advice: “Be the best lawyer money cannot buy.”

She said she continues to live by his words after she joined Congress to represent the Kabataan party-list group.

“Walang kinang ng ginto ang makakabulag sa prinsipyo at hangarin naming ipagsilbi ang batas sa taumbayan,” she said in a Facebook post.

She also called for an end to attacks against members of the legal profession.
