Lawyer and law professor Galahad Pe Benito said good looks are an asset in the legal profession.
In a post on X, Pe Benito said a pretty face helps, to go by the comments about lawyers in the impeachment trial.
But he also said it involves a heavy burden because good-looking lawyers have to prove that they are more than just another pretty face.
“First impression would always be that you are ordinary. So the burden is on you to prove otherwise. Once you’ve bridged the barrier, respect follows,” he said.
He also said he has noticed that charismatic lawyers have more than just good looks.
They also have a jovial and pleasant personality that helps them stand out, he said.
