Pikon much: Roque calls out Pinky Webb on air after UP-DND accord question
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque loses his cool after CNN Anchor Pinky Webb asked him about the challenge posed by UP Mass Communication Professor Danilo Arao on high ranking officials who are also UP alumni.
The abogado was clearly slighted with the question as the challenge entails them to denounce the move to terminate the accord preventing police or military to enter the campus.
Pinky Webb just being absolutely tired of Roque’s bullshit. https://t.co/w5vtmpZFwF

Roque insisted that Webb is pushing the point that his lack of denouncement entails that he does not have honor and excellence. The abogado also attacked the anchor for allegedly not being fair in her questioning. She blatantly denied it on air after Roque stated it.
Webb told the abogado that does not what she meant in asking for his reaction to Arao’s challenge. She emphasized that he should not receive it as such.
Roque also said that he takes offense that people think he would follow anyone’s advice.
The netizens also had a lot to say toward the abogado’s lack of composure. One even tagged ANC News Anchor Ian Esguerra to also interview Roque just to see him squirm.
I watched harry roques interview on @cnnphilippines with pinky webb discussing UP, vaccines, etc.
Can we get him on @IanEsguerra ‘s show? Id love to see roque answering tough questions.
Sige na sir @IanEsguerra haha

Others lauded Webb’s handling of the on-air confrontation and called it “classy.” Others suggested that a GIF or a meme be made out of it.

Previously, Arao challenged all UP alumni in government to blatantly denounce the termination of the accord. The professor said that this will prove that they truly have honor and excellence, which is the mantra being espoused by the university.
Nagalit siya eh!
