Pharmally witness now unreachable after tell-all testimony – Senate
Senators are scrambling to look for Pharmally officer Krizle Grace Mago, who claimed in a Friday hearing that the little-known company supplied expired and subpar face shields to medical workers at the onset of the COVID-19 crisis.
Senate Blue Ribbon Committee chair Dick Gordon revealed that Mago, who testified against her employer about its multibillion-peso contracts with the Philippine government, is now inaccessible.
“We are concerned for her safety after what she confirmed to us during last Friday’s hearing. We offered her protection. After attempts to get her exact location so we could send our Senate Sergeant-at-Arms, she can no longer be reached,” Gordon said.
The Senate offered security after the Friday hearing, but she has not replied since about where she is staying. Her number is also inaccessible.
