Pharmally whistleblower says ‘expired,’ subpar face shields repacked for frontliners’ use
An employee of Pharmally Pharmaceutical claimed the company was repacking expired and substandard face shields for the use of medical frontliners as part of its multibillion-peso contracts with the Philippine government.
Pharmally officer Krizle Grace Mago, who faced the Senate probe on Friday, said they were instructed to repack face shields, even those with expiring quality and those with marks or impurities, and send them as actual supply for the use of medical workers.
“So you were swindling the government?,” Senator Dick Gordon said.
Mago replied: “I believe that is the case.”
She said it was Mohit Dargani, one of Pharmally’s incorporators and sports car owners, who gave the instruction – something which the man denied.
Senators committed to provide security to Mago should she tell all about Pharmally’s dirt.
