Pangilinan: Drug war full of ‘bluff and bluster’

Senator Kiko Pangilinan voiced out his concern regarding the firing of Vice President Leni Robredo as cochair of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs.

He said this only shows that the President is not really serious in letting Robredo solve the drug problem.

“The appointment and the eventual firing of VP @lenirobredo

as anti-drug co-chair prove what we have been saying all along: Both the war on drugs and the appointment of the vice president as ICAD co-chair are bluff and bluster,” said Pangilinan.

Robredo was fired from her new post after only two weeks, just when she was about to start implementing reforms in the country’s drug policy.
