Out to destabilize? Carpio, Leonen tagged by Pulong as members of ‘Oust Duterte’ movement

Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio and Associate Justice Marvic Leonen have been included in the list of personalities allegedly planning to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.

The list, shared by Duterte’s son, former Davao City Mayor Paolo Duterte, on Facebook, was titled “Anti Administration Group.” Underneath it was the subhead, “Oust Duterte Movement.”

Based on the table, the movement to oust Duterte is led by Vice President Leni Robredo, who was identified as the leader of the united opposition.

Other groups allegedly plotting to remove Duterte from office include the Movement Against Tyranny, Tindig Pilipinas and the militant Makabayan bloc.

Aside from Carpio and Leonen, other politikos allegedly working to oust Duterte include: Senators Risa Hontiveros and Leila De Lima, former Vice President Jejomar Binay, retired general Victor Corpuz, retired generals identified only by the surnames Cunanan and Jampe, professor Randy David, singer Jim Paredes, and former Cabinet officials Norberto Gonzales, Corazon “Dinky” Soliman, Florencio “Butch” Abad, Allan Purisima, Paquito Ochoa, Ging Deles and Cesar Purisima.

Also included in the table were personalities Juan Santos, former senator Alberto Lima, Guillermo Parayno, Ronald Llamas and former Chief Justice Hilario Davide.

Religious organizations such as the Opus Dei and the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines are also reportedly part of the destabilization efforts.

Named in the table were former senator Francisco Tatad, an Opus Dei member; Bishop Broderick Pabillo, Bishop Deogracias Iniguez, Bishop Leo Drona, Bishop Antonio Realubin Tobias, Bishop Emeritus Julo Xavier Labayen, Bishop Pablo Virgilio David, Bishop Arturo Santos and spouses Ramon and Carmen Pedrosa.

Imelda Nicolas, sister of United States-based Filipino-American millionaire Loida Nicolas Lewis, is also reportedly funding efforts to oust Duterte.

Allegedly helping her bankroll efforts to remove the President are prominent Filipino companies such as Jollibee Foods Corporation, Dole Philippines, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT), Philsaga Mininh, General Tuna Corp. And Sumi Philippines Wiring System.

Media personalities Maria Ressa, who owns Rappler, Ellen Tordesillas and Ed Linga are also said to be planning to oust Duterte.
