New courthouse to serve nine trial courts in Imus City

A new and modern courthouse is set to serve several trial courts in Imus City, Cavite by providing a more spacious and efficient environment for judicial operations and public service.

Located on the second floor of the Grand Union Supermarket Building in Bayan Luma, the 1,640-square-meter facility will house RTC Branches 20, 21, 22, 124, 125, 126, and 127; MTCC Branch 1; and the Office of the Clerk of Court of Imus City.

The new courthouse features courtrooms, mediation and conference rooms, a detention area, and dedicated storage and records rooms designed to support the courts’ day-to-day operations and improve access to justice.

The physical transfer of the courts and offices is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026.

The project forms part of the Supreme Court’s continuing efforts under the Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations 2022–2027 to modernize judicial infrastructure and provide safe, efficient, and service-oriented court facilities.#
