NBI conducts 2nd polygraph test on Gracioso

Dismissed police officer Rodulfo Mondigo Gracioso Jr. underwent another round of polygraph testing at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday over his allegations involving cash and other deliveries to members of the Duterte family.

The NBI Polygraph Division started the pretest interview at around 3:30 p.m. followed by encoding and explanations before the actual test proper began at 5:39 p.m.

The polygraph examination was completed at around 6:30 p.m. with the entire process taking about three hours.

The NBI said no results were available yet as the Polygraph Division was still processing the examination.

The division was working overtime to process the results, according to the information provided.

This was Gracioso’s second polygraph examination before the NBI.

NBI Director Melvin Matibag earlier said the dismissed policeman had already undergone a polygraph test concerning his work and dealings with former House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco.

Gracioso has alleged in his sworn affidavit that he delivered billions of pesos in cash, luxury gifts, vehicles and other items to members of the Duterte family, allegedly upon the instructions of Velasco and his wife, Rowena Amara Velasco.

The allegations are part of an ongoing NBI investigation.

Gracioso has stood by his sworn statements.#
