Veteran lawyer Lorna Kapunan marked the recent birth anniversary of her father, the late Supreme Court Justice Lino Mejia Patajo, and paid tribute to him and the important role he played in her life.
In a Facebook post, Kapunan said her father was her mentor, inspiration, and moral compass.
He was a loving father as well, said Kapunan, one of the private prosecutors in Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment case.
Patajo was born on September 23, 1916 and passed away on March 24, 2010.
He served as an Supreme Court Associate Justice from July 31, 1985 to April 16, 1986.
