Medical teams on standby as 1,200 Bar examinees troop to San Beda in Manila

Ambulances and medical personnel were deployed at San Beda College in Manila on Sunday as part of emergency preparations for the first day of the 2026 Bar examinations.

The Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Department said its medical team was deployed early to ensure the safety of Bar examinees and immediately respond to any medical emergencies during the examination.

“Maaga po ang deployment natin para sa Bar Ops 2026,” the department said in a statement.

“Andito po tayo ngayon sa San Beda College upang siguruhin ang kaligtasan at dulugin kung anumang pangangailangang medikal ng ating mga kalahok sa eksamen,” it added.

The department said around 1,200 examinees are expected to take the Bar examinations at the San Beda testing center.

The medical standby is part of the city’s preparations for the three-day 2026 Bar examinations, which begin Sunday and will continue on Sept. 9 and 13.#
