President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sunday expressed his gratitude to those who greeted him on his 69th birthday on September 13 while he was in India.

Marcos was in New Delhi, India last week where he participated in the 18th BRICS Summit in his capacity as the chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations for this year.

Just like last year, the President hosted a “Salo-Salo sa Palasyo” at the Malacañang grounds for the public.

“Bawat frontline service agency ng gobyerno kasama, kaya parang isang malaking selebrasyon na rin ang naganap,” he said.

Marcos also underscored the expanded Zero Balance Billing program that was launched along with his birthday.

Marcos went on: “Humigit-kumulang 132 hospitals ang kabilang dito mula Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao.

The government also conducted outreach programs in communities and schools, providing medical check-ups and free medicines to 175,565 individuals across roughly 282 sites.
