Marcos approves expansion of Cavite ecozone

Administered by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), this strategic growth aims to open doors for more investments, boost local business activities, and create more jobs for Filipinos in the region.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the expansion of the Cavite Economic Zone II in Novelete, Cavite through the inclusion of 14,640 square meters of land into the existing ecozone.

This was contained in Proclamation 1460 that was signed on September 28 and published on the Official Gazette website.

The directive designated several parcels of land with an aggregate area of 14,640 square meters as part of the existing Cavite Economic Zone II.

The Cavite Economic Zone II is a component of the Cavite Economic Zone, a special economic zone administered by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.

The expansion of the said ecozone is expected to bolster economic activities and investments in the province.
