Man wanted over hazing death arrested while applying for police clearance
A 22-year old man facing murder charges for a hazing-related death in 2015 has been arrested while applying for a police clearance at the Mabalacat City Police Station (MPS) in Pampanga.
While Jeremiah Montoya tried to get his clearance, the police personnel found out that he was the subject of an alias warrant of arrest issued by Angeles City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 61 Judge April Joy Magsayo Aguila.
Montoya had been tagged as the most wanted person in Mabalacat City, yet he had apparently remained a resident of Barangay Dau.
He was accused of involvement in a hazing rite that resulted in the death of a 14-year old out-of-school youth who was resident of Sitio South Daang Bakal, Barangay Dau.
