La Viña sets real stage for law students on Trillanes issue
Abogado and academician Tony La Viña led his students to a simulation of one of the trickiest cases that rocked the legal world this year: The Trillanes amnesty issue.
On Instagram, La Viña shared how his Ateneo Law students, who he noted are mostly women, have imagined themselves as counsels arguing before the Supreme Court the merits and flaws of the Soriano and Alameda hearings on the case of Sen. Antonio Trillanes.
“Some of them will be doing this when they become lawyers and they will remember that they experienced this first in my Philosophy of Law class. Of course, applying Rawls and Sen, the only just decision is to uphold the Soriano decision and the amnesty of Senator Trillanes,” he shared.
