John Molo reminds influencers they do not have journalists’ rights
UP Law Professor John Molo reminded influencers who are entitled to certain rights.
The abogado said that they cannot avail of the same rights given to journalists contrary to what has been claimed.
Not all forms of speech merit the same level of protection. Ex. Political speech, free press are different from “commercial speech.”
Influencers who earn by amplifying paid messages can’t use the protection given to journalists. “Ads” are not editorial pieces.
