Lawyer Israelito Torreon, dean of the Jose Maria College Foundation Inc. (JMCFI) College of Law in Davao City, urged the school’s Bar candidates to face the 2026 Bar Examinations with confidence, courage, and faith.
Torreon reminded the JMC law candidates that the examination was the culmination of years of sacrifice, sleepless nights, difficult recitations, and countless examinations.
“Walk into that examination room with faith and confidence. You are ready. You have been trained for this,” Torreon said in a message to the candidates.
He urged them to trust what they had learned and believe in themselves, while placing their ultimate trust in Allah (SWT).
“And whoever puts his trust in Allah, then He is sufficient for him,” Torreon quoted from Qur’an 65:3.
Regardless of the outcome, Torreon said the JMC Law family was already immensely proud of the candidates for reaching the Bar.
“Enter with courage. Answer with wisdom. Pray with faith,” he said.
Torreon also prayed for Allah’s guidance for the examinees that they be given steady hearts, clear minds, and success in the Bar.
“Go and conquer the Bar! In Shaa Allah, our future JMC lawyers!” he said.#
