Jimeno surprised by a Good Friday reminder
Abogado Karen Jimeno is contesting a version of a Holy Week tradition that apparently, she was never aware of before.
Jimeno shared on Twitter a reminder from CNN Philippines “not to take a bath after 3 p.m. on Good Friday,” the time that marks the death of Jesus Christ, because it brings bad luck.
“Three o’clock in the afternoon of Good Friday marks the death of Jesus Christ. This is regarded as a somber time and elders say those who take a bath or do laundry after this hour will receive bad luck,” the post says.
But the abogado seems to be surprised that such tradition exists.
“Huh… Never heard of this as bad luck before! #GoodFriday2019,” she said.
