Is it too late to say sorry? UP prof apologizes for UP officials’ uncouth behavior
UP College of Mass Communication Professor Danilo Arao is apologizing to the Ateneo de Manila University Community. The note from the professor came after the Malacanang-appointed Regent Spocky Farolan threatened the safety of the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
DEAR ATENEO: Sorry for the behavior of our two UP officials. Using the word "stupid" and threatening bodily harm on Ateneo athletes are deplorable. These attitudes unbecoming of high-ranking officials validate our call to strengthen, not weaken, UP's General Education program.

Arao said that he is sorry for the behavior displayed by the UP officials. He also noted that these actions and words are deplorable and unbecoming of high ranking officials in the State University.
Professor Arao managed to campaign for the strengthening of the UP General Education Program. He claims that paying less attention to the program leads to the production of such attitudes.
Wala na, #FireSpockyFarolan is the deal!
