Remembering my late mom-in-law on her bday she would have been 72 this year. Quite an interesting life—free spirit and Pitoy Moreno model living it up in her youth; then an activist in the 1970s deciding to live in the mountains of the Cordillera where she also passed away in baguio; she pushed to promote Cordilleran textiles and culture along w her friends; she was also a book and column writer; and a multi exhibited painter in her last decade of life. She lived well, liked her Laphroaig 🥃 and was a loving mother and doting grandmother; our kids were lucky to have spent time with her and can recall their experiences with her to this day; our loved ones never truly die, they live in our memory and the love we feel keeps them alive forever (or til Alzheimer hits) 😅 💓 #BabooMondonedo #foreverYoung
