IBP on the ground, deploys legal aid desk for BARMM elections

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) is on the ground in Mindanao for the 2026 BARMM Parliamentary Elections and deployed volunteer lawyers to provide legal assistance to voters and election stakeholders.

The IBP Lanao del Sur Chapter, in coordination with the IBP National Center for Legal Aid (NCLA), set up a Legal Aid Help Desk at the Bangsamoro Electoral Office in Malidegao within the BARMM’s Special Geographic Area.

The help desk provides legal guidance, receives election-related concerns and facilitates referrals when needed.

IBP national officers are also on the ground to coordinate with chapters and volunteer lawyers to show the organization’s commitment to access to justice, voters’ rights and electoral integrity.#
