Hilbay tells Twitter critic: ‘Mag-research ka naman!’
Former solicitor general Pilo Hilbay slammed a Twitter user who implied that he had accepted favors from a developer when he was still the solgen.
“Uy mag-research ka naman,” Hilbay told the netizen.
“As Solgen, I argued against DMCI’s Torre de Manila & asked the Supreme Court to cut it down,” he said.
Hilbay stressed that the then controversial Torre de Manila “had void zoning and building permits,” as it dimished the value of Rizal Monument.
Uy mag-research ka naman. As Solgen, I argued against DMCI’s Torre de Manila & asked the Supreme Court to cut it down. The Torre had void zoning and building permits, got in the way of the Rizal Monument’s line of sight and diminished its value as protected cultural heritage. https://t.co/j8hhTUJrrw
