Hilbay laments official’s ‘wasted’ inherited surname
Without naming names, former solicitor general Pilo Hilbay talked about a public official who “wasted” his inherited surname.
Power, the abogado said, is like electricity—it makes a strong person more powerful but “fries the brain” of the weak.
“Look at this official and weep,” said Hilbay. “A sprinkling of power roasted his brain. all learning in the arts and letters down the drain.”
ang kapangyarihan ay parang kuryente. sa katawan ng matikas, ito’y nagbibigay lakas. sa pipitsugin, ito’y nakakatusta ng utak.
