Hilbay commends Vico Sotto’s governance
Former solicitor general Pilo Hilbay commended Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto for exploring solutions to the food and transport crisis being faced by local residents.
After conducting a risk assessment in Pasig under the enhanced community quarantine, Sotto proposed the use of tricycles to ferry workers and sick patients around the city, on top of free shuttle services to health workers.
But Sotto’s proposal did not sit well with national government officials.
Sotto also placed a purchase request worth P158 million for 400,000 food packs, to be distributed to the city’s most vulnerable residents.
“A TALE OF TWO SOLUTIONS: duterte: pag di sumunod sa quarantine, kulong. vico: para sumunod sa quarantine, tulong,” said Hilbay.
