Gusto ko! Joan De Venecia-Fabul says humility, tenacity important to survive law school
PLDT Deputy Chief Legal Counsel Joan De Venecia-Fabul emphasized the important qualities to have in order to survive law school.
In the 9th C2C Webinar entitled “Considering To Pursue Law”, the abogado said that she never once wanted to quit as her pursuit for a law degree came from a personal desire.
De Venecia-Fabul, however emphasized that she did not get a free ride as she too was embarrassed by professors several times when she gave the wrong answers or was not prepared for class. This taught the abogado the importance of determination, tenacity, and humility as a law student then.
She also shared that her father and former Speaker Jose De Venecia Jr was overjoyed that she wanted to follow in his footsteps. The abogado added that her parents never imposed it though.
