Guevarra: 100ml of urine extracted from Christine Dacera
Government investigators conducting forensic science examination on the remains of flight attendant Christine Dacera have managed to extract 100 milliliters of urine from her.
This could provide forensic examiners a boost in establishing the real cause of death of Dacera, a flight attendant of the Philippine Air Lines before she was found dead in a hotel in Makati City last New Year’s Day.
“I was informed that the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) was able to extract about 100 ml of urine from the subject’s body. It could provide a lot of information to the forensic team. The results of the laboratory examination may come out in a few days,” Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said.
Guevarra officially tasked the NBI to join the Philippine National Police in probing Dacera’s sensational death.
Dacera was found unconscious in the bathtub of her hotel room in Makati City on New Year’s Day following a party with friends the night before.
Hotel personnel tried to revive her before she was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead.
Three suspects were arrested and were provisionally charged with the crime of rape with homicide before the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.
But the prosecutor’s office ordered the release of the suspects pending results of a formal preliminary investigation.#
