Gracioso’s 2nd lie detector test shows no deception – NBI

The second polygraph examination conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on dismissed police officer Rodulfo Mondigo Gracioso Jr. showed no signs of deception.

NBI Director Melvin Matibag said Gracioso’s responses to questions related to his sworn allegations produced no specific physiological reactions that would indicate deception during the examination.

The examination included a pre-test interview and a series of polygraph tests.

Gracioso underwent the second lie detector test on Wednesday as part of the NBI’s continuing investigation into his allegations involving cash, luxury gifts, vehicles and other deliveries allegedly made to members of the Duterte family.

The NBI Polygraph Division began the pre-test interview at around 3:30 p.m., followed by encoding and explanations before the actual examination started at about 5:39 p.m.

The test proper ended at around 6:30 p.m., with the entire examination process lasting about three hours.

This was Gracioso’s second polygraph examination before the NBI.

In his sworn affidavit, Gracioso alleged that he delivered billions of pesos in cash, luxury items, vehicles and other valuables to members of the Duterte family allegedly on the instructions of former House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco and his wife, Rowena Amara Velasco.

The allegations are being investigated by the NBI.#
