Former police officer Rodulfo Gracioso Jr. said he is standing by his allegations about cash deliveries to Vice President Sara Duterte on orders of his ex-boss, former Speaker Lord Allan Velasco and his wife Wen.
This was after Duterte’s former Davao City Information Officer, Jefry Tupas, disputed his story and said he was out of the country on two of the instances when Gracioso claimed that he was present during deliveries and was handed the suitcases of cash.
Tupas submitted an affidavit to the National Bureau of Investigation saying he has plane tickets and passport stamps to show that he was in South Korea and Japan in two of the instances, and called Gracioso’s claims lies.
Asked about these on Bilyonaryo News Channel’s “On Point,” Gracioso said that was Tupas’ story and the latter would not admit his role.
“Alam naman natin kung gaano sila ka-close nina Ma’am Sara,” Gracioso said.
Pressed about the specific instances that Tupas disputed, Gracioso said he has his own pieces of evidence that he gave Tupas the money.
“Tingnan muna namin ma’am kung anong date siya ma’am nag-travel at yung claim ko ma’am. Tapos ibangga namin yung evidence ni Sir Jeff,” he said.
According to him, he has a logbook and photos of his alleged deliveries.
He said he has submitted his evidence to the National Bureau of Investigation.
He also said he has talked with other people he had worked with on the alleged cash deliveries and they are also willing to speak up.
But he also said they are nervous about it because they would be going up against prominent and powerful people.
