For the worst: Edwin Lacierda says everyone wanted change in 2016 but received less
Former Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda is sharing wisdom about the current political landscape.
The abogado said that the “dungheap” we are in is caused by our hope for change but we were given something we did not expect.
Remember Mario Cuomo’s dictum, we campaign in poetry, we govern in prose.
Selling is the easy part, each candidate will put his best foot forward. The hard part is governance.
We are in this dungheap because majority among us wanted change & we got the change we didnt expect.

Lacierda stated that Mario Coumo’s dictum says that people tend to campaign in poverty but govern in prose. The abogado emphasized that the hard part is really governance even though the selling of a candidate is easy since they tend to put their best foot forward.
Just something to think about for 2022!
